Disney on Ice

Last February 21st my family watched Disney on Ice at the MTS Centre despite the below 30's weather. It was spectacular because the characters were surreal and their skating forms were astounding! I guess it is the child in me that really brings me the amazement for Disney characters especially the Princesses and Heroes.  Zach was very behaved since I bought his drinks and snacks. While my Princess Zoe, on the other hand, can't keep her eyes off the eyes. There were a number of Disney novelty items sold and my Zoe can't stop pointing on everything she likes. She has her child tax anyway and it was suppose to be her night, we just gave in.

My childhood favourite love team! Jasmine and Alladin (everyone singing along)

Kids were amazed with the fire stints from Sleeping BeautyDisney on Ice

Here is a video Mark, whom I never thought would have enjoyed the whole show, took. We capped the night with a cup of Tims (drive thru) while the kids snoozed in the car.

Valentines

It's the time of the year when people take an extra effort to show each one's affection to their loved ones. As for my family, we spent it by a late lunch at a Chinese restaurant because they had to wait for me from work. Hubby surprised me with these lovely tulips, chocolates and a hallmark card the night before. I know he was going to give me something but on how he did? it was quite special. Of course, I had a card for him ready and for my two adorable kids. I wanted to make it a tradition that we take an additional step on demonstrating how we love and care for each other.

The day was a success. My Zach is growing really fast too! A part of his milestone are being able to walk with support, talk a little and crawl like a pro. He is really tall too because his height is of a 15 month old. He is a sucker for massages and he loves his Ritz. My Zoe, on the other hand, is so dalaga. She can follow instructions and can say poems and sing songs from nursery rhymes to Katy Perry and Yeng's Chinito LOL. I'm teaching her tagalog words too and we are now polishing on different animals. I want my kids to be able to understand Filipino (tagalog/visayan) because I want them to know that they may have grown in Canada but they still have the Pinoy blood running in them.
